Anyone got idea why we don’t have Crankcase breather filter,,??, and someone confirm to me, is that hose located in the Right Valve

cover (119 094 78/79/80 82), for the Crankcase breather.....???

ZAYED,,

I have a filter there in the right cylinder-bank between 3rd and 4th cylinder. Its "inside" the engine, means at the top of the cylinder-head below the valve-cover.

Thats very good Chris., what kind of filter you using.? and is it with 1 or 2 pipe lines..?? can you post some pics..........

ZAYED,,

Well thats all stock.... I hope we mean the same... let me check my EPC...
Parts marked. Its a small filter/sieve kind of thingy, it is called "oil separator/oil trap" in the EPC.

The metal-hose which is hard-connected to the right valve-cover is placed inside of it when you install the valve-cover correctly.

Woooo, i didn’t know that, Thankss alot, i think i should open the Valve cover and check that, but its soo small, why MB not make it a

little bigger & put it above the Valve cover not inside, thats makes easy to change it & avoid that hell temp. inside the Engine.....!!?!!

ZAYED,,

When i open an oil cap lot of smoking air escaping,, maybe the Crank breather filter is closed with a greasy oil or somthing(just

thought),,

ZAYED,
