Detroit Auto Show's Most Collectable over the last 30 years

Hi Friends:

Looks like the 500E made it onto the Detroit Auto Show's list! Kind of an interesting list.

All the best,

Joe

Thx
It would be good to start a poll on this thread to see how many people have had 1, 2 or more than 2 of the cars on that list. Some fun cars on that list and I bet a number of people on this forum have had more than just the E500E that was on the list.

All the best,

The picture in the article is not the car that was in the Detroit Show, but I have pictures of the car that did, in fact I posted them a couple of weeks back.

I'm attaching a 2005 mag article about that specific car, a good friend of mine owns it and I actually drove it once a few years back.

To my knowledge, that 500E has only one change since it was photographed for the article, it now has euro lights. When my friend bought it, it still had the USA lights, and he kept them so they can stay with the car.

Other than that, it still looks like it did when it was at the Detroit Show, rumored to be the first time 500E's were introduced in the USA, but I don't know that's a fact.

Anyway, it is an iconic car, attached is the mag article about it, and a few of pictures of it. (That's my 300CE in one of the pictures)
