DeutscheMarques 7: Gilmore Car Museum July 7, 2018

After I had a hellish week, it was great to clear my head and go for a two hour drive to the west side of Michigan and participate in the 7th Annual DeutscheMarques Car Show at the Gilmore Car Museum in beautiful Hickory Corners, MI, just northeast of Kalamazoo.

This car show featured all of your favorite German marques and everything from daily drivers to weekend treasures, including Audi, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen.

My 500E was not available, so I drove my new 2016 BMW Z4 and parked in the BMW section. Click on my car below, and it will take you to a few of my favorite cars at the show: IMG_4017

Fudge! I was there this morning! I wish I new you were there Makemann so we could chat. If we had your 500E for sure I would have recognized due to its gorgeous color combo. I enjoyed the show as well and spent a few hours there with my father-in-law this morning. The Red Audi 5000 wagon and the very minty burgendy 240D where some of my favs at this gathering. I am sucker for the 2002 as well.

RicardoD, I should have posted earlier that I was going! I would have enjoyed meeting you.

The red Audi wagon and the red BMW wagon were incredible.

I also saw my old Porsche 911 there. The new owner has babied it (thankfully!)

I lifted a photo from DeutscheMarques’ FB page of the Best In Show winners from each brand.
