500E Did they offer a trim without a headlight wiper?

I have been lurking around to find an used E500 and found one in a local dealership without headlight wipers. I believe that this one is MY 1993 or 1994 and with Japanese specs. Did they offer a version without the headlight wiper back then? I thought that all trims came with the headlight wipers but I was not sure what happened to this one.

AFAIK, no E500E was offered without headlight wipers. However, it's possible this could have been done via special order? You'd need to get the VIN of the car in question. More likely, an owner removed the wipers.

you are totally right Dave, the headlight wipers were standard equipment for ALL 036, no matter to which country they were delivered.
