E500 transmission removal

Hi will be removing transmission tommorow do u guys no if I have to remove the manifold on the left hand side if any tips on removal are welcome thks ley
 
No need to remove manifolds, but you may need to remove the exhaust system.

Tip: It's easier to access and remove the top 2 transmission mounting bolts from above... might also need to remove the throttle linkage to get your hands down there. It's usually harder trying to do this from below with extensions.

Do you have a lift/hoist to get the car in the air, so you can stand underneath while working?

Yes the car is on the ramp will be removing the gearbox tommorow but noticed the exhaust is in the way
 
And the gearbox is out

What is the cause for that plastic piece to be “burned” like that? Was it ever low on oil? Correct transmission oil used and changed as per standard?
I hope everything else is ok, good luck with the repairs.
 
It was running fine well missing some spots and changes so I changed the oil and I think that ripped the ferodo off the clutches do u think this part need replacing and do u now we're I could ger a repair kit thx
