Will performance be affected if you replace a 500E LH computer with one from a E60 AMG?

More to the point do you have a 6.0L AMG LH to swap ? Unicorn part this :o

As for performance, no idea ! But the reverse (from what has been covered here before) 5L LH to 6L seem to be ok .

Whoa!:o That shouldn't hang around for long. GSXR may want to experiment with it ;)

Yes, performance may affected, but in a negative way. The LH module should always match engine displacement. There will not be any power gain using an LH designed for a bigger engine (otherwise, all the 400E guys would be snapping up 5.0L modules).

I think I had seen this LH module for sale a while ago, but the price was out of this solar system. What's the current asking price on it? I'd love to take a peek at the EPROM code on this puppy.

:jono:

No you can not just swap Modules and magically get free hp. The fueling curve is based on displacement and volumetric efficiency of the engine.
