Looking for mappak (damos) of LH module to make adaptation for 6.0L engine with custom camshafts.
Does anyone now were it can be sourced?

Already tested AMG and Brabus modules.
stock module with WOT - 375HP
AMG - 402.3HP
Brabus - 402.1HP

Just curious - what do you mean "stock module with WOT", is that a 5.0L module on a 6L engine?
What AMG and Brabus modules were tested?
And finally... what custom camshafts are used in the 6L engine?

:v8:

stock module with WOT (...1732) - 5.0L module
copy of original AMG and Brabus modules were tested
regrinded camshafts were used

Got it. I don't know if you can modify the program to make any extra power than the ~402hp you are already getting with the AMG or Brabus modules. I assume the AMG module is the HWA-124-545-07-32 module. Wonder what Brabus changed, if anything.

Are the "regrinded camshafts" modified 5L camshafts, to get ~10mm lift or so?

:apl:

camshafts were regrinded to get wide phase
Yes, but were the regrinded reground cams 5L or 6L?

Have any additional info on this build? Was it an AMG 6L engine, or a 5L that you have converted to 6L, etc etc?

400hp is about normal for a 6L with custom cams.

:watermelon:

cams regrinded from 5L, cant tell the specs
engine was converted to 6L from 5L
forged pistons
m117 560 crankshaft
ported heads, intake and exhaust manifold
custom exhaust

Cool! With that setup, I think 400hp is probably the best you are going to get. Nice work! Have any photos or dyno graphs?

Also, what size intake valve was used? Standard 38mm? I'd love to do the same conversion...

:wahoo:

the gearbox can't handle the increased torque and its visible on dynograph
new gearbox and torque converter will be tested this summer

Hi, I like this approach to 5.6/6 liter, some Q-s, what pistons do You use? What head-gaskets, from whom are used?
How did You treat the M117 5.6 crank? Chip/programming, was it a replicated chip from AMG, BRABUS 6liter AND
why is it so DAMNED hard to rise the curve, if a Lamda run does show "lean running" that could be fiddled about?

Exhaust You say, I guess it's a true dual pipe system, we don't need higher backpressure...
All we make is to get the motor to breathe better, so, I can tell, AMG did put a lot of effort at, intake runners and ports.
Although, at that time no one did any real work to the exhaust, until the W210 R129 AMG '96 on.

About the gearbox, does it "flair" 2:nd-3:rd and convertor, wich one will be used?

ps In a workshop nearby, there is a newly rebored 101mm closed deck, 8 forged JE pistons, waiting to be assembled!

custom pistons made in Russia)
oem MB head-gaskets machined to 100mm
crank was cut in counterweight diameter
replicated chip from AMG, BRABUS 6liter
exhaust is dual pipe system
new oem 722.370 gearbox and new converter will be installed

Oh, Russia, they do custom pistons? at what cost, each? Guess the head gaskets are 500 ones, re-shod or O-ringed?
othervice I would have read, AMG €€€ Exhaust, similar to R129 of late or non cat dual? Shows it can be done w.o. expensive
AMG parts, practically non exsistent today, good to hear...

The magic cylinderhead gasket with Anelli separati , as you can understand, separat compr. rings, it says 102mm inner 108
outside dia, they cover at least 101mm overbore pistons. The AMG and other custom made gaskets I belive was always
reshod and as this Machine shop who ordered theese ones from Italy, said, reworked OEM gaskets are NOT recommended.
And I think theese ones are perfect for supercharging of any kind, youre not likely to blow an O-ring...

I had the sets at home for 800€ each... i.e less than ONE AMG gasket!!!
