FOR SALE Evo 2 wheels with Michelin tires

After a lot of to and fro I’ve decided to keep using the original wheels on my 500E so I’m selling my Evo 2 wheels.

The wheels are almost new from the dealer after theft.

The rims are brand new not refurbished Mercedes OE wheels.

Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport Plus in 235/45/17, the dimension for the 190E Evo, but they work fine on my 036. Tire date is week 28 year 2023, made in Spain.

The wheels have done about 2000 kilometres.

No damages at all, they are pristine.

Price €2300 / $2600 plus shipping. Wheels are located in southern Sweden, I can ship basically anywhere in the world but prefer local pickup.

Price for this set new is about twice my asking price and my price is firm, I don’t need the money or the space, I just think it’s a shame to see them sit and rot.

Images below are taken today.

These wheels are is Sweden, I think shipping across the Atlantic would be expensive
Correct - shipping across the pond will be cost-prohibitive. Especially with tariffs looming that could tack on unexpected extra costs. 😟

@jay77, contact a live person at your local dealership, inquire about inventory in USA for part number B66470061. I think these may be available new from the dealer. Current MSRP is $698 each but discount dealers (Laredo, Covington, etc) should be $500-$525 each - if available. Plus cost of tyres, of course...

:spend:

Hi, I live in Belgium. Would you agree to 1500 euro ? Do you also have bolts and centercaps ?
Thanks
Hi,

Yes I can go with that price, plus shipping. Since you’re a new member here I would require payment in advance.

No bolts but I do have centercaps as included in the pictures.

All the best, Thomas

OK, these will 100% fit my '91 500E ?

Yes, but the tyre size is slightly smaller diameter vs stock, as Joe noted in his first post.

235/45 would be correct for all other 124's, but the E500E normally uses 245/45.

I will check with my mechanic later and keep you informed. Thx
Yes they fit 100%, the tire with is not correct for the 500E, but they work very well anyway.

Some pictures below of my car with the wheels that are for sale:

@Raffie,
235mm VS 245mm is less than a 1/2” narrower. To be exact it’s.4 of an inch. That should be nothing to worry about especially for the price+shipping. The tires alone are worth around €1,100.00.

Thank you Terry, yea if you want Evo’s this is a good deal.

The rims are also new from Mercedes, not refurbished. Nothing wrong with refurbs, but original is original.

Yes, that price is really good! New OE rims and tires as good as new. The tire size difference is negligible IMO.

BTW, @gsxr, the tire size calcs you posted is kind of incorrect - you have compared a larger tire with the smaller tire as a basis - but the comparison should be the other way. The table says the larger tire rolls -11 revs less per mile, correct, but the point is which difference the smaller tire gives which is +11 revs compared to the larger stock tire. Same for the speed readings, table shows the opposite way.

Ooops! Here's the correct version:
