First off got a 1 off 4 so evidently the 92 LH had been cleared before I got it. I'm good there.
However got 3 codes off Pin 7 and since this is a non ASR car think I may have a bad CC/ISC module from what I see. Need you guys to help me verify what i suspect here.
Codes were
2-the module
6-safety contact switch. What is this? Suspect it's the neutral safety switch but need some more info here guys.
The last code was also pulled from pin 7 but can't find it in the charts it's an 11. The only code 11 I can find is a bad CC/ISC module code off 2 for the LH but this code came out of 7 and I got a 1 on 4 so??
Can you guys confirm that it looks like I have a bad CC/ISC that is causing my idle issues? Also is code 6 off this pin a bad neutral safety switch? If so might be my gremlin on all the trans weirdness. If it's not then what is this switch?
Thanks a BUNCH!

Since you haven't read codes on your car before now, you need to clear all the codes and see what comes back.

Pin 7, code 11 is: Fuel safety shut-off signal to LH-SFI control module (N3/1)

Pin 7, code 2 can be:
EA/CC/ISC control module (N4/1)
Safety contact switch (M16/1s1)
Stop lamp switch (S9/1)
Cruise control switch (S40) OFF
Actual value potentiometer (M16/1r2)
Starter lock-out/back-up lamp switch (S16/3) (transmission range recognition)
Closed throttle position switch (S29/3)
Engine speed (TNA) signal
Vehicle speed signal (VSS)
Safety relay within EA/CC/ISC control module (N4/1)
Engine harness

Pin 7, code 6 is: Starter lock-out/backup lamp switch (S16/1)

My issue Glen is an erratic idle issue. Was going nuts and surging badly when hot at one time. Now after replacing the LH with the 92 that has the WOT enrichment then letting it settle in by turning on the key till it cycled through and found it's base then starting for the 1st time idle had been stable. Last night came in after leaving the car at Church from out of town with temps around 50 degrees and it went nuts on start up. Was running up and down like crazy then as soon as it warmed stabilized. Left the key on for a few today and let the system reset after going through a couple cycles not running and it seems ok for now. Will do on rechecking the codes in a couple days reset everything while I was in That Code 2 off 7 has me suspicious of the module though the way it changes with temp at times.

Just bookmarked that Chart Glen did not have that one THANKS!
Would that code 11 Fuel shut off on pin 7 be this car hitting the limiter on the 1-2 shift I wonder?

Honestly, I have no idea.:?

Be careful... the code descriptions are slightly different for ASR and non-ASR cars, for codes from pins 6 (ABS or ASR) and 7 (E-GAS or T/LLR).

Glen is correct, you MUST clear all codes, then drive the car and see what codes return. Otherwise you may be chasing problems that don't exist.

Ugh, I forgot I tailored my code chart to .036's specifically. Thanks for the reminder, Dave!
