93 400E Pin 7, Persistent DTC 2 and DTC 14

Yeah so It's a very sad day Indeed. Pin 7 had 2, and 14, I cleared all codes drove for a bit and now they are back.
I'm guessing I prob need to get the three digit code to move forward in a systematic way?
I just thought Id post and see if anyone has any info.

Both codes could be from S29/3, which could either be mis-adjusted throttle cable, or the switch failing. Are there any other symptoms besides the two codes? And I assume your 400E has ASR?

Ah Ha! Guess what I've done recently. I tried to adjust throttle cable. I was not comprehending instructions, I should have aborted and done further research. Yes I have ASR, thanks
Now I'm feeling a little guilty for bashing my car especially since It's my fault.

The throttle linkage and cable adjustment is very picky. As a rough guide, the cable should be adjusted so there is a small amount of play (~1mm) at the very end of the cable, near the springy thingy.

Speaking of which... the cables often have brittle or broken plastic threaded adjustment pieces. A new cable is ~$30 from discount dealers, cheap insurance and good preventive maintenance when they are nearing 30 years old.
