Hello all,

Admin edit: Moved to new thread. I’m new here, not able tô create new posts… this one is the closest I could find…

I have a 400E and Star diagnosis is showing the Messages on the attached picture.. looked at forum search and not showed any related topic… should be my Chinese Star multiplexer as mentioned above at this posts?

Module N4/3 is the T/LLR module which manages idle speed and cruise control. Clear those codes and see if they return immediately. If so, you may have a defective T/LLR module.

Welcome to the forum!

Thank you very much for your prompt responde. Just clear The error but It takes time to return, not immediatelly… tested the LLR module in a perfect E420 and worked fine, no errors… little more detail… the 400E starts an run, arround 900 rpm..as soon as It starts It tries to adjust the idle to reduce rpm, It perform a slight oscilation 2 times them die and I need to wait a couple of minutes to restart or its does not work…never saw this before. Looking at actuator values on TPM menu from Star, It reads the throttle valve angle normally, r1 and r2 values from M16/2, idle switch on/off are ok if I acellerate looks fine… looks That values from the throttle valve are ok, if the LLR module is bad I would be able to read all this values? Maybe something in the wiring from module box?

Thank you very much!

It's unlikely to be wiring issues in the module box. Can you try the T/LLR module from the "perfect E420" in your 400E? That's also unlikely since your module worked OK in the E420.

Is your ETA (throttle body) original? If so, that could be part of the problem. The internal components can wear out. If you can send the ETA to USA, Don Roden at RFC Electronics can do a complete test & rebuild.

Also - has your engine wiring harness been replaced? An original with failing insulation can cause strange problems, although it shouldn't cause the specific fault codes you are seeing.

Just update on the topic, looks that throttle body is slightly open, just a little bit, that cause the idle issues, but no idea what is causing It, as soon as I get the engine runnig It opens and dont return… working on this on freetime… all wiring is perfect just checked, sensors are ok… looking for anotarem throttle body also..
