I'm trying to conform to the posting format, if I should do it any other way please suggest. I'm just trying to get anything currently for sale posted for future reference. No problemo! I mostly just try to keep the subject line in the same format (FS: 199x 500E, Color/Color, XXkmi, $xxk, (City, State)), and the first post in mostly the same format (complete ad text indented/italics, ad title in bod, etc). I'll fix any obvious typos and edit the city/state to something recognizable if the seller has something silly listed, like that green one with "sunland". If you really had time to kill you could email sellers and try to collect VINs, for which I'm sure Gerry would be eternally grateful.

I know, it's amazing how many are out there. I try to add as many photos as possible, and update posts with new links/prices as things change, for future reference. Very handy to have all this info around, thanks for locating these!

Indeed, it's a good adjunct to the database that I maintain. This is a new thing that is much more formalized here that it ever was at 500Ecstasy, and is a good service for everyone.

This site is slowly getting up to the level that 500Ecstasy was at.... it's gonna take more years to build it out, though. Still just kills me that we can't get hold of that 500Ex data. Would be so easy to import the data and the users here and combine them with what we have.

Through the addition of features like the front end (www.500Eboard.com) -- which I need to work to build out and customize further -- the wiki functionality, the picture gallery, the 400E/E420 and 126 coupe sub-boards, and especially the high value-added items like the "Thanks" button, I'm trying to move us past the "forum only" place into more of a 500E & related destination of sorts.

We're gonna hit 1,000 members very soon !! When we switched over from the phpBB software last summer, we were about at the 630 member mark, so we've grown about 50% since August in user count and well over that in total posts and thread count.
