Yup, a wise decision he did 12-16 years ago when everyone was mounting R230/W211 wheels on W124s and R129s and literally throwing these away.

His E60 LTD is in Florida now.

Yes, original owner was a Qatari prince who ordered it back in 1999.. with what seems to be MB's first ever PTS (Paint To Sample) color option. And viola, designo purpur/purple metallic 015 was born.

This color is Qatar's national identity color and flag.
