Hello. I'm rebuilding my m119 engine and need new lifters. Was hopping to find INA but they aren't in stock . Currently have three options: Maxgear, JP Group, DT. Does someone has experience with it? What would you recommend

Found also KOLBENSCHMIDT and BGA..
I fitted a single KOLBENSCHMIDT to my 119.982 1998 SL500 recently and I have no complaints but I've only covered a few hundred miles so far.

KOLBENSCHMIDT is at least an OEM supplier for M119 pistons.

I've never heard of any of those other brands, some may be offshore junk. Be careful, and don't buy based on price.

Ok. So Ina is OEM for tappets and kolb for pistons?

ok. I finally found INA 420004210 and received them but they look different to the old lifers. How can that be?!?!?! I used any catalog possible to verify that the stock PN is A1040501225 and that the INA number is 420004210...

What year (manufacture date) is your M119? The lifters changed slightly (reduced weight) around mid-1992.

1994. I also found an old Russia blog that claimed that he purchase Febi branded lifters that are made by INA and some of them what the first type some the other (in the same pack)

Please excuse the terrible quality but this is a photo of a dismantled lifter from my 1998 M119 which I think is the same as the one in the right of your photo:

There is a thread I read somewhere (maybe on here?) where the weight and possibly basic dimensions had changed.

I tried to find my rejected lifter which I replaced but can't lay my hands on it. If it turns up, I will measure it to double check the right side one in your photo is the same as mine.
