Identifying different amp alternators

Other than pulling one, how do you know which one you have?
Look for the markings / part numbers on the black plastic rear cover. Assuming this is M119 specific, most / all early 90's M119's came with a 110-120A unit which all look the same externally.

The 143-150A units have a slightly different shape to the housing / fins, but if you didn't upgrade, it's almost certainly stock.

Thank you. I thought about calling the dealer but I don't know they would have that information. I am going to post in the other thread I started but my problem seems to have been a wet alternator! I used compressed air and wire dryer to get it started again!
