I am in the midst of replacing motor mounts, and after numerous attempts at loosening the top bolts I decided to order the "special tools."
I managed to get the right side loose using a swivel ratchet and removing the SLS tank for access, but the left side top bolt was not cooperating. While waiting for the tools to arrive I continued my attempts and came across a solution that was already in my toolbox. One piece of this Pittsburgh serpentine belt kit # 63689 works very nicely in place of the tool I was waiting for.

This part can be used with any size 1/2" drive socket required and does the job quite well. It may have a slightly smaller arc of operation because it is longer than the Kommen tool, I believe, and may require rotating the socket on the tool to allow it to align with the bolt head initially and between continuing grabs at turning the bolt.

Now I have to figure out whether to keep the Kommen tools when they arrive, or return them.
