Yes, that was really interesting, I've never seen Putin in a 500E before. Could be a photoshop fake, it's a bit strange he does a crazy test drive in a Polish 500E...
That supercharged M113 power plant was snapped up and discussed a bit back in 2012. I've still not seen any proof of its existence, but who knows;

No clue how it was done, but to me it seems more desirable than 6.0/6.5 m119.. tons of bolt ons to make an easy +600hp, not to mention the engines are not that hard to find.
Tried to ask the owner on fb but he only lead me to the name of the shop that did the job and didn't give me more info :/
