Jean Banchet, one of the first AMG owners in the States and an early supporter of the marque has died. He hosted many events at his award winning restaurant over the years. He was great host and a car enthusiast of the highest order. BTW, his restaurant was voted The BEST in America....
The usual waiting list stretched around 4-6 months or so, but if you were a car guy...
RIP Jean.
