FYI Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance

Just found about this. At $800 a person for VIP, it isn't cheap to attend, let's see if it's worth it.

Update:

I know members 600Eric and Kip will be making the trip to Las Vegas to support me with my car.

Tickets for the friday night dinner is $200.00 per person and the ticket for the Concours Saturday is $100.00 per person. Tickets need to be purchased in advance as they will not be available at the event.

I made it back home safely from the Las Vegas Concours d'Elegance yesterday after a very busy few days. On the field they had a total of 139 cars, 99 of which were in judged classes. Fellow 500E member Kip was at the show with me and we both commented that quality of the cars on the field was impressive to say the least. The venue and the weather was beautiful as well. The results for Class 12:

1st - 1975 Lamborghini Countach Periscopo
2nd - 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Slantnose
3rd - 1971 Maserati Ghibli SS

Although my car did not place I did enjoy the event as it was well organized. It has been suggested that the 16V was a bit down on horsepower to keep up! :)
