500E Metall Piece Infront Passenger Seat

Hello, I just removed a speaker system infront of the passenger seat under the floor mats and im wondering if this metall piece is supposed to sit like this and what are the P/N for the things thats gonna hold this in place. Thanks in advance!

That is a plate holding some control units, relays, cable connectors, and yours is in correct position. Upon that plate sits the profiled foot rest/kick panel. I've enclosed the only images I could find in my archives. I have no lead on that clip.
