That’s a great story. You’ve got skills.

I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to discover it since I’ve been here since July of 2009. You should be writing editorials for some automotive on line magazine.

Last time I remember Derf on the forum was a pic of him in a Pic-A-Part yard looking like he he was in the Antarctic. I think it was 30 degrees that day.

Terry, I am increduously flabbergasted that the Man I believed to have reviewed every posting on this Forum did not read this thread until the past year.

Regarding your kind comment, I must admit, in the back of my mind I thought of the chance of perhaps capturing the attention of someone in the biz via them reading this or some of my other stories in this Best of Class Forum. But to no avail. No contact PMs.

And I do scratch my head sometimes when I read the occasional atrocious mag article & wonder how the writer ever got the gig.

My only excuse for missing any thread is travel. When your home everyday you tend to develop habits like reading the newspaper everyday. When your gone for 30 to 40 days with only an I-Phone and lots of sites to see my participation drops quite bit. I try to catch up but stuff gets missed. You are now in the catching up mode yourself.

So when no new interesting threads pop up daily I go back thru some of the old stuff.

I enjoy your thread in fact this AM I spotted a pic of your car from inside your front door over your fluffy looking cat which could double as a CA Duster for you.
