Thought I would share this with the group:

There's a guy in Sacramento, CA that trolls pick 'n pulls for interior leather for Mercedes. He takes it and will repair it, say, take a good piece of leather from a back seat cushion that isn't toasted and use it to replace a worn out bolster on a driver's seat cover, for example. Or, he'll just pull a whole set if they're really nice.

He has gotten me leather seat covers for a number of cars, most recently for my 1993 400E, which has what he said is a very rare blue interior. That is, he said he rarely sees blue interiors on W124 models....

Anyway, he just got me the following set of covers (see below) for $300 shipped. He can also often come up with nice armrest covers for the one piece armrests, too. His name is Craig Schoenemann and he advertises on eBay, although I have known him since before his eBay days. His ebay user name is "mschoen954". I highly recommend Craig. He's a good guy and continues to surprise me every time I ask him to find me some decent seat covers. Tell him I sent you - nothing in it for me, just a very satisfied customer.

Don't hesitate to ask him for something if he doesn't have it for sale. As with my blue W124 covers, he wasn't too optimistic about finding a set when I asked several months ago, yet he was able to find some.

Dan upon further research I found Craigs obituary. Passed 10/2/2019 at age 60.Way too young.
