Original Car Phone System

My 93 has an LA Cellular phone installed with the cradle and microphone just to the left of the sun visor.

Has anyone ever retrofitted one of these to work with their current phone?

Has anyone ever gotten one to work?

The unit in my car still has power to it and works but no number hooked up. Hmmmm. I actually turned it on for the first time the day my oil pressure gauge went to zero. Coincidence or something else going on??

your cell phone is unable to be integrated into the cars original phone. It's better to just get a Bluetooth ready stereo.
