Took a few quick shots of my 93 500e with my iPhone this afternoon at a park here in Louisville. I thought the photos turned out fairly well for a phone/camera. Enjoy.

Re: Owner - bbashore

Yes indeed, great color. very nice looking car. The color matched cladding looks great. Did you have it done yourself?

Pictures turned out very well.

I loooooove that color. I wonder if MB ever made one with that paint color and a black interior...

:apl:

The more I see these Bornite colored cars, the more I like them!!! That is very unique and quite stunning! Great looking car!!!

I dunno... if the car were originally 199, would it really be that much of a loss? Of course resale value would go into the :sicker:

:seesaw: :wormhole:

Ah yes, but if it was a salvage title and originally smoke silver who would really care about the resale value. Especially if the purchase price was right.

Hey what are you saying about Smoke Silver ?

LOL! Good point, Stacey. I can rag on Smoke Silver cars since I own one... it's not a bad color but it ain't Bornite.

:gor-gor:

Not saying anything bad about it at all. I just quite like the Bornite too and if I bought that salvage smoke silver car then I wouldn't feel so bad about changing the color ;)
