That is one incredible collection of cars. You say you are 25 years old?? You must have grown up in a Mercedes Benz family ;)

Valérian, good to see you here, I'm the one that pointed you to this board.

Thanks for sharing your car with us, you will love this site !

Bjr Valerian:

Ron

difficult to understand you, speak easy in english, the traductor in french is bad quality.

you say you come in Beaulieu sur mer ?

A muséeum, at Mougins, its closed.

Yes it' s a DB6 Vantage Superleggera

Hello Valerian:

I use to live in Beaulieu-sur-mer for a few years, in the early 90's. I use to go to the African Queen for lunch a few times per week, was dating a gal who worked at the Rive dealer. She got to use the Super Aquarama evey so often, better almost) than a 500E.
There was a Museum just off the A8 near Mougins, they had a swap meet (autojumble) every September. I was wondering if the place is still open.
There was also a big swap meet in Lyon evey year.

Kind Regards

Ron

Thank you all.
In 2010 I stayed 1 night in St. Tropez and then in Monaco.... I will let you know next time I'm in the area......

When I was in the area 75 meters below the fountain in the photo below (in the direction of the casino), just 5 minutes later, I was standing just 2 meters from the president of Argentina Cristina Kirchner.-argentina-s-president-cristina-kirchner-who-faceb.jpg

Ah yes, Exotic Gardens and the Cafe d'Paris..... home of the 50 Euro L'onigon soup and Iced Tea..... if you stay during the race get a "12" Room at the Hotel d'Paris, 712, 612, etc. best room with a view in the house.

I'm really missing that area now.... REALLY REALLY.

Each of those German Weihenstephan beers was USD $15.00... but damn, were they tasty :wine: (and also a major sponsor of the annual Alpentour I go on).

Cheers,
Gerry

Photos are awesome - thanks for posting!

Question: Is that black W124 with the AMG body kit and Recaro seats a Hammer...??

I love the French spec headlights with the yellow highbeams. Are the foglights yellow tinted glass or is it just the bulb that makes them yellow?

I am also only 26, very few young men our age appreciating and driving 500E's

Thank you.

For normal driving light color, there has a small bell attached plastic yellow over the bulb :

For fog lamps in the bumper, there has a big piece change as it is made entirely of glass yellow :
