Don’t you just love old cars….

So the crank sensor needs replacing due to a mouse destroying the connector.

The metal part of the sensor is absolutely solid in the bellhousing, not budging in any way and has now broken off inside.

It looks like the gearbox can be pulled back enough as where the sensor fits it’s a seperate part bolted To the back of the engine but one of the bolts is within the bellhousing.
What part is this ?

The plastic has a hairline crack in it so will need replacing but can this be simply removed and refitted or will we be messing with anything ?

When all done I’ll put pics up as the entire underside bar the engine and box has been refurbished.

Kind regards

Dave!
