1992-1995 S-class 140 chassis with M119 engine, and all W124 400E/E420, will have the same basic transmission.

If you want an identical 722.370 or 722.365, only the E500E or 140.05x (500SE/SEL/S500) will be identical.

What spare part do you need?

What is 140.05x

140.050 = 500SE/S500 short wheelbase with 5.0L engine
140.051 = 500SEL/S500 long wheelbase with 5.0L engine

Must have 722.3 transmission (through 1995 USA model year), as 1996 USA model year changed to the 722.6 electronic transmission.

Yes, 722.370 is correct for the E500. Check the numbers stamped on the housing before purchase though.
