Project for Techno Creative Type!

Seems like many of us have broken clips on various pieces of the interior trim. In particular, I need the top most clip inserts that go on the two triangle-shaped pieces that cover the side view mirrors on the inside.

Anyone able to 3D scan them and then 3D print, so they could be expoy'd on? I smell a group buy! [emoji6]

I think I need the same clips I can take a pic tonight... We don't have a scan ability, but my 15 year old son is pretty good with design and 3D printing... He has several types of filament, let me check on which is more flexible.

That's a good idea.. on those mirror covers, you could 3-d print the part that breaks off...

we hope to add a quality scanner and printer in the coming year @ the new shop... got some other expenditures first but this is Near the top of things I'd very much like to have!
