Proper Car Ride Height -- What is Correct ?

One last question: is the rear of the car higher than it should be? Seems like a lot of space between the tire and fender.

@gsxr that was when you and I were looking at my first set of wheels which had 14R ball seat and 12 shank bolts w/ that weirdo collar remember?

This new set of NEEZ wheels use a cone seat and are different….. (!!!). 😃
AHHHH! I forgot about this. Good to know the new NEEZ use standard cone-seat bolts, that makes everthing 1000x easier.

Well, I found shorter bolts. They are 25mm. Seemed like 4.5 to 5 full rotations. Plus torquing to 80lb/ft. Noise is gone.
~5 rotations is adequate, although a bit more would be nice. Glad you fixed it.

Can you measure the ride height at all four corners, from fender lip to wheel center? 036's tend to have the front lower as the strut pressure gets weaker with age, while the rear remains higher. Need measurements to tell if either end is not in the 'normal' range, it's hard to tell via photos.

Fronts are 13 7/8. Rears are 14 1/2.
That's pretty much dead on for normal ride height. You can try to lower the back slightly by either buying Limited springs (maybe 1/4" drop) and/or cutting ~0.25 coil off the rear springs. The rear SLS must be adjusted afterwards to get the rear to drop. I like ~14.0" in the rear so the front/rear is near level, at least via the tape measure.

Note the rear level varies with fuel load, it may be 1/4" higher with empty tank vs full tank of gas. The front end doesn't vary with fuel load.
