Radio Removal Tool

Yes, that is the tool that you will need to easily remove the radio on the facelift cars.

You can sometimes (via eBay, and other sites) find these tools bundled with the tools that allow removal of the ignition lock from the dashboard. Its a nice bundle to have, for not much more dough than just the radio removal tools themselves.

Thanks all, and yes, those are for a double DIN, so I'd only use two but the price and delivery is right.

Hoping to draw on the board's collective wisdom. My sound only comes out on one side and has a buzz, so I was planning to remove radio and amps in the trunk to send to Becker. Started with the radio and the generic tools described in post #4 above.
Problem is that neither side of them will click or lock into place. Even with them as far in as possible the radio won't budge.
This is typical for my usual efforts at car projects.
Is there a better quality set of removal tools out there?
Any other advice?
Thanks

Did you remove the ashtray area wood? IIRC the radio won't come out unless the wood is removed.

They don't go in that far, at least not the full length of the tool.

I can take a picture of one engaged in the lock on the side of a radio and post it in the morning so you'll see what I'm talking about.
