Refresher course for Klink and Clark

Refresher for most on this site, however, my kids and I just had a great learning session.

Very good instruction tool.

Klink and Clark....
Hmmmmmmmmmm.
With the passing, AKA death, of Tom Magliozzi (The Click of "Click and Clack") I see a MB themed Internet program, sort of Mercedes Source but with actual knowledge.
The money's in the sponsorship; Bosch, Snap-On, Craftsman, Uro, OK maybe not URO but you get the idea.

Very cool.

But.......... the boxer engine not fully covered there.

Porsche 911 flat six, 917 flat 12

BMW motorcycle flat twin

EDIT:
OK, the flat four covered, but
there are 2,4,6 and 12 cylinder versions

And 16 cylinder's too. Auto Union V16, Porsche 917 PA and the BRM H16.
Hardly worth watching since those engines are not covered....

My current Honda bike has a parallel twin.

What about the old Chevy Vega V-4 motors.

And the MB, AMC and BMW inline-six ?!!? And the Dodge slant-six?

I would venture to say that there is no gas motor ever made that is harder to kill than a Dodge slant-six.

The Vega was an inline 4

Saab has a V4 back in the day.

You are right, it was the Saab not the Chevy Vega.

Although the V-4 that Saab used was actually a Ford of Europe design, not a homegrown Saab design.

You mean the two-stroke "Shrike" engine that directly pre-dated the Ford V-4 they adopted?

++1 tough piece of iron.

By the way, the 4 Stroke Cycle demo plays precisely to the beat of Led Zeppelin’s “How Many More Times”. A coincidental (& memorizing) discovery.

I don't think anyone can argue with that. The abuse our family Duster survived can't be explained by any Physics professor.

I had a slant six Dodge Duster that also never died. I finally gave it away.

I had a slant six in a 1976 Dodge Aspen station wagon (yes it also had the faux wood) along with 4-on-the-floor (manual) and a posi-trac rear diff. Extremely stout engine and drivetrain. It was my high school/college car and I threw everything I could find at that car. Ended up giving it back to my parents when I bought my Audi.

All this slant six talk, and no mention of the rare aluminum block slant six......................
