Remove the whole inside of steering wheel

Hello you all
I have bought a new steering wheel and the inside does not really look the same on the steering wheels because some cables are located in other places and such. So im wondering if its possible to remove the whole metal thing in the steering wheel and replace it with the metal from the old steering wheel.

@gsxr Do you know if there is any good way of removing the whole thing or is that something that you don't do when changing steering wheel. Sorry if I am asking a lot of questions.

Yes, you can remove the entire horn mounting assembly, you can clearly see the screws in your own picture. Do keep in mind that these "innards" are not always compatible with different years of steering wheels. I have seen standard wheels, which on the outside look identical, but the "innards" are different and can not be swapped to other wheels. You can give it a try though.
