I contacted the manger, he is offering a significant special discount for the forum members!

@gerryvz How can we offer this to forum members? sticky?
Just post a Parts For Sale thread with a group buy or the special pricing, and details. Probably can get the best price with a group buy of XX pieces....

Good evening gents

I got the delivery of the hoses today
Have someone do the job,
Shift the hoses?

Best Regards
Niklas

Niklas, I tried to explain how to take the hoses apart in this thread, post #35:

I'm thinking about 3D printing the plastic parts of the intake tubes. I wonder if there will be any demand for them, because it's always the foam that is damaged. For now, I printed the prototype with PET-G, but the final product would be made out of something more durable.

Here they are. Printed out from Carbon fiber reinforced nylon, heat-resistant up to 194°C (381°F), according to the manufacturer of this filament. I don't have any way to test them until the spring comes, but if someone needs them asap before testing, PM me, there will be a discount and in exchange I would like to receive information if they are holding up in the engine bay. Price is $90 for one side (foam piece not included).

I'm happy with the way that they look. Finish is similar to the distributor cover.

I also made 3D model of the ignition wires clip. It will be printed in the same material.

More parts are coming. I would like to make headlight buckets and engine mount air ducts, but they are a little too big for my printer, so it will be a multi piece design. Fan shroud is also an option, but it will be really $$$ and also multi piece design. I know that everyone wants to keep everything looking as close to OEM as possible (Myself incuded), so making a ugly Frankenstein fan shroud held together by zip-ties and hope is not an option. I will need to figure out some way to join multiple parts together while making it looking as good as possible.

I will make separate for sale thread in the future.

Did you check if the distributor cover is still available from MB? I had bought a set less than a year ago, so I’d check with MB

Both left & right distributor covers went NLA in early 2024. You can try to find some new old stock on a shelf somewhere, but don't get your hopes up. eBay only shows a few used ones. There's a used passenger side for <$30 delivered (link) but the square hole at the top which locks it down, is broken (as almost all are).

On the bright side, these are excellent candidates for 3D printing, especially if the finish will be anywhere close to stock, at least enough so it's not obviously a 3D print.
