FOR SALE Set of 20 lug bolts for AMG Monoblocks, 85mm long

gsxr

Staff member
Set of 20 lug bolts, total length 85mm. Bolts are in good / very good condition, see photo below.

These bolts are used with the following wheels:

  • 17" C36 AMG "Styling II" Monoblocks from the W202
  • 18" E55 AMG "Styling II" Monoblocks from the W210
  • 18" AMG/BBS "Styling I" 2-piece staggered wheels that were an accessory for the R129
  • 17" Rial ARC M800 8-hole design UPDATE: Rial M800 require special bolts, minimum 43mm shank length, with R14 ball seat. If spacers are used, the shank length will be different.

If anyone knows of other 17" or larger wheels which use these bolts, please let me know and I'll update the list.

The 85mm length puts the top of the bolt flush with the wheel face so there are not five black holes visible. These may fit other AMG wheels as well. These are NOT for use with Evo wheels - the 85mm bolts will stick out beyond the face of the wheel. The correct lug bolts for Evo wheels are 72-75mm total length to be flush with the wheel face.

Shank length is the standard 40mm, so these are not appropriate for use with spacers that require longer-than-stock bolts. These bolts have the decorative cap which can be polished if desired. These bolts have been NLA for nearly a couple of decades now, and all I see currently on eBay are single bolts, not full sets. There are also versions of this bolt without the decorative cap, if you want the shiny decorative cap, be careful when shopping. And, don't mix these up with the 500E-style bolts which look similar, but are 95mm long.

$220 for the set of 20, free USPS shipping within USA. PayPal Friends & Family, or Zelle.

These correct bolts make a big difference in the way the Monoblocs look.

Dave. I found a full set of these should just fit in a USPS standard small box.
Thanks for the tip, Drew - I'll try that! :jono:

FYI, for anyone shipping lug bolts: Wrap them in a plastic bag, then wrap the bag tightly with packing tape so it's a solid brick of lug bolts inside a box (then, pack the wrapped brick so it doesn't rattle around inside the box). If you let the bolts slide around loose inside any box, there is a high probability of one or more escaping through a hole as the box gets drop-kicked through the postal system. A few years back that happened to me on the receiving end... when the holey box finally arrived, it had zero bolts inside. Worse yet they were a rare item, difficult to replace.

Dave,

Would these be the correct bolts for the 18x9 squared setup monoblocks I purchased from you a few years back? Will the top of the bolt be flush with the face of the wheel?

Manny

This image is probably from Daves' homepage?

A side note; is the 95 mm bolt shown on the image above PN #124 400 00 70?
(bolt spec for 16" stock wheels and 17" AMG/OZ)

Manny, are you sure it was me that you bought the wheels from? I don't recall selling a set of 18x9 squared (pretty sure I never had a set in that size, but my memory ain't what it used to be!).

If your wheels are the 18x9 monoblocks used on the rear of a W210 E55 AMG, part number HWA-210-401-02-02, yes these 85mm bolts are correct for those wheels.

Hmm, I'm interested also
jnes, I should have a second set of these bolts available if JwashE also wants them. I have another project that I need to finish up ASAP so it will probably be next week before I can get these ready to ship. However, ship costs to Finland will be quite high. I may also have a set of the Boge subframe bushings you want, and combining shipping into a single package may alleviate the painful ship costs (slightly).

Great! Thanks Dave! Please check if you can find those Boge bushings! Are they sportline bushings? If you can check the shipping costs that would be good. I can also calculate pricing with shipper which I have previously used how much they would charge.

I'm not in a hurry with those parts

Maybe we can continue this in PM

I would also be interested in a set, I bought one from Europe a little while back from a forum member but fedex lost it in Memphis...

The current dealer bolts are short, and do NOT have the decorative caps. And, the 85mm 'extended head' bolts went NLA circa 2021. 😟

You have to find used sets in nice shape to get the proper length with decorative caps.
Thanks Dave. Will look out for the 85mm set. Maybe Jeff @captruff has a set?

I am interested in a set of these bolts as well if anyone has any more. I currently have 18" staggered monoblocks. Thanks in advance!

Just curious - are you using spacers at all? If not, the 85mm bolts will work perfectly.

Just double checking that I don’t have spacers… I noticed the rear hub does stick out further than the front wheel hubs. I did just buy this vehicle so I’m not too familiar with it. Does this picture confirm anything? The first is the front wheel and the second is the rear.
