Soaking wet spark plugs, hard to start, smells of fuel

Hello guys, I am working on my 92 W140 500SE. The problem is ‘’hard to start’’ and when it finaly starts it’s only at poor idle without no throttle response. All spark plugs get soaking wet and it smells fuel. The fuel pressure are within specs, new fuel and filter, new correct spark plugs, new ignition wires, new rotors, new distributor caps. I took over this project with the no starting problem so I have never heard it runs except for a little bad idling. Do you have any suggestions of this problem

Any chance you have a spare LH module to try (either 4.2L or 5.0L)?

:scratchchin:

I have no spare module, so you think it may be the LH module that is causing these problems?
I'm not sure, but it would be an easy test if you had a spare. I don't why the LH would be over-fueling.
