Hello
I’d like to purchase a CARB module
For whatever reason, mine is warm to the touch without the key being on
011 54594 32 078
92 500e

I've had at least one fail the same way. Warm to touch with key/ignition off, and slowly draining the battery.

That is an early part number, btw. The late number is 015-545-13-32 which is interchangeable. Looks like a few on eBay under $50, click here.

:cel:

Where is this module located? I don't have one in my 92 036 CAN box. I do have one from a 94 W140 part out. 015 545 29 32. Applicable?

It's located underneath the passenger footwell. It is only present on 034/036 models with a CEL in the cluster, and yellow emissions decal above the passenger headlight. Black-label, non-CEL cars do not have the CARB module, also known as DM / Diagnostic Module.

Nope, that's a full-size module that plugs into the larger CAN box on the 140. Won't work in a 124.
