Spare parts windscreen wiper

Aaron (speedy300Dturbo) reported that the Dorman replacement wiper gear is made in USA and appears to be decent quality. Photos attached.
Application chart indicates it may only fit the early-style mechanisms, with metal housing. The late-style housing with removable plastic cover was phased into production late in pre-facelift production (late 1993 USA model year). I don't know if the late wipers use the same gear.
