spark plug + E supercharger ??

We don't recommend the use of any other spark plugs on the M119 except for the original manufacturer specification as this causes ruff idle.
No power gains there.

As for the second, that's just a joke. Regarding intake systems, never use a so called "cold air intake" on the 500E, as it will turn into a hot air intake with all the heat in the engine compartment.

Thank you so much .

I'd stick with non-resistor only, for the reasons mentioned in that thread (post #37)... even if the resistor plugs seem to work ok, there's a possibility they may cause premature death of the EZL over the long term.

And, there doesn't seem to be any advantage to the newer, fancier, multi-prong, rare-element-electrode plugs... no power gains, no fuel economy gains, just a lighter wallet (MUCH lighter in some cases).

Hee hee, that's all the advantage a manufacturer is looking for....

Quite true. On some newer cars which are designed for these plugs, the advantage is much longer plug life... like, 50-100kmi, instead of the 20-30kmi we usually get from our old-skool F8DC4's. This was strictly to reduce maintenance/repair costs over the long term. The long-life plugs may last 2x-4x longer but they also can cost much more than 2x-4x in price, making them a poor investment for DIY'ers (but still possibly offering some savings for folks who pay the dealer to change plugs).

Either way - IMO, these fancy plugs are not something useful for the E500E.
