Speedometer Dial Face

The speedometer dial face on my 1995 e320 is very faded. Trying to understand what the original color looked like. Specifically talking about the orange "arc". Was it the same color of the needles on the speedometer and other gauges, or was it a different color. I did see a photo of the Jerry Seinfeld 500E which I would think would be a good reference given its low mileage and originality. On his car the arc looked the same color as the needles.

Lastly, is there a pre-mixed hobby type paint that's a close match?

Thank you,

Kevin

Seinfeld's 500E probably has the most accurate colors you'll find anywhere. The needles and non-White numbers should be a similar Orangey color, although the needle appears to be a brighter shade vs the km number dial. These both fade to a yellowish hue, or closer to white with excessive sun exposure.

Search the forum for past discussion on this, I think someone had found a premixed color that was pretty close. Not sure if anyone has found an exact match.

Another question on for this group as i am working on my gauge cluster.....Ive noticed on some 124's the speedometer face has a "stop" that the speedometer needle rests on and on others there is no "stop" Was curious to understand why....does anyone know?
