I am in the middle of heads rebuilt so the engine is almost “naked”

I see the starter and it easy to remove it. I dont have any issues with it…

Donyou think that it worth to replace it now or to leave it and take care on it when it will blown up?

Is it hard to remove it when all compinants attached?

I recommend having it rebuilt locally if there is a shop that does that. That is what I did with my 93. Also have the alternator rebuilt at the same time. Saved big bucks doing it that way. If you don't have a shop, then reman is the next best option.

It is not a bad job while in place, but worth doing while you're at it. Even though it has not failed yet, I think you will notice the difference in the starting sound. Much faster and smoother, In my experience.
