steering a car with no key

I am planning on buying a car with no key.
Once the title is in my name, I will get the key.
How do I turn the car and push it around until I get a key?
I should know how to do thus, but I don't.
Thanks in advance.

You'd have to get dollies to put under the front or all four wheels to push and move the car around, if it's in your garage/shop.

Otherwise, I imagine I would have to break something?
Any good source for under wheel dollies? Harbor Freight?
Buying an auction car, I imagine maybe the already broke something to steer it around?

Is it a w124 you are buying? As Gerry said it's not possible to de-activate the steering lock. It's built into the steering column and removing it requires the key to be in the ignition for removal- without the Key it's pretty much impossible to remove / disable it.

Dollies is the only way I see it being moved also.
