Thinking about selling my OZ Racing AMG wheels 8.5x17 and 10x17

All, I've had my oz wheels for about 10 years and while I love the way they look, they're too harsh on my 107 so I'm thinking of unloading them. They are chrome and could use refinishing. 8.5x17 in front and 10x17 in rear.

I'd be looking for $2000 firm before. Please let me know if there is an interest before I roll them onto ebay

Happy to show these personally to anyone interested and make sure that there are no cracks. Reluctant to ship if I can avoid it because of crap i had to deal with when the shipper drops something, but will be happy to take it to a UPS or Fedex shipping location where it can be packed and shipped at the buyers expense.

Yes, chrome is not great . I understand that you can strip the chrome off with mauratic acid. I'm planning to try that with a couple of the 15" W126 wheels that I have.

Actually I was thinking about swapping them out with the Lorenser LO's on my Euro 560SEC, but I'm considering selling that too, probably with regular 15"

The chromies do make the red "pop" !!

I've always heard mixed stories about de-chroming wheels, though. With a wheel as prone to cracks as these tend to be, I would be very hesitant to mess with anything that could attack the base metal.

There's got to be someone in Florida or SoCal who loves chrome who would be all over these.

The chrome can be safely stripped however the wheel will then have to be painted. It can no longer be polished. It's not expensive, as low as $50.00 per wheel. I would let a professional do it though as opposed to DIY. I agree they do look nice on that particular MB.
