• Hi Guest !

    Welcome to the 500Eboard forum.

Since its founding in late 2008, 500Eboard has become the leading resource on the Internet for all things related to the Mercedes-Benz 500E and E500. In recent years, we have also expanded to include the 400E and E420 models, which are directly related to the 500E/E500.

We invite you to browse and take advantage of the information and resources here on the site. If you find helpful information, please register for full membership, and you'll find even more resources available. Feel free to ask questions, and make liberal use of the "Search" function to find answers.

We hope you will become an active contributor to the community!

    Sincerely,

'Twas The Night Before A (500E) Christmas

Twas the nite before Christmas and all thru the forum, not a member was stirring, not even an........Unhinged Troll.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that an answer from @gsxr to that vexing question would soon be there.

The forum members were all tucked in their beds while visions of shiney 500e's danced in their heads.

Momma in her driving coat and me in my MB cap, had just slid behind the wheel for a neighborhood lap.

When out on the roof, there arose such a clatter, I stopped the 500E to see what was the matter.

I hit the button for my window in a flash, and of course it was nonworking which made me want to tear out the dash!

Nonetheless, the moon on the breast of the new fallen snow, made my 500E look all aglow.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a 500e with @captruff and 8 Concours trophies oh dear!

With a figure in the passenger seat so lively and quick, I knew in a minute he had been joined by........................Uncle Kent.

More rapid than a Beemer, his 500E came, and he whistled and shouted as he called out names......on Bugeyes, on Blondie, on Q-ship and Mach 5. To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall, now dash away with Uncle Kent, dash away all!

And I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, "Merry Christmas and a good 500E year to ya'll"!!
