I've lost faith in eBay lately and only as a last resort.
Yes, eBay has gradually changed to more like an advertising website. The search filters are far too wide showing pages of pages with commercial offers, with the few finds you want to watch mixed in between. And they allow automatic shipping calculation from the huge, dominating freight forwarders, giving cosmic shipping rates in most cases. The vast majority of sellers & buyers are still straight and honest people, but eBay itself has turned out to be a cumbersome thing IMO.
Oh yeah.....and if you are an ordinary non-commercial seller it's become impossible. Plus, as a seller they don't allow you to be paid with PayPal.....but you can still use PayPal to pay for purchases. What's wrong with that picture?
Don't even get me started on eBay's ridiculousness. I had four separate listings for EPROM chips for the M119. eBay just cancelled all four listings.

We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our Vehicle, parts, and accessories policy. ... certain parts and accessories, are not allowed.
What activity didn't follow the policy
eBay now prohibits the sale of all tuners, devices or software that can modify vehicle performance, even if it does not remap the ECU or ECM or is described as diagnostic. But their contribution to increase the turnover of chinese garbage sold worldwide, produced with the highest pollution in the entire world is OK.
