Looking to purchase a lower engine harness for my 95 e420. Dealing with oil level light please help or direct my someone who rebuilds here in Los Angeles

So looks to be about €70 for shipping. Put the order in today we shall see when it arrives. Per DHL listed as 3 weeks. I hate doing wiring but I guess I’ll have to do the rebuild myself. I did find DIY for R/R but anyone have a DIY on rebuild or soldering instructions?

Thx for sharing…
I just faced situation where the car would crank but wouldn’t start. It runs fine now but can’t make it daily driver until I am sure that it won’t be leave me stranded. So, addressing eco junk issues with ETA and lower harness to baseline the car.

It's pretty straightforward if you do it yourself. You'll need to have the supplies on hand, but that's mainly wire with high temp insulation (Teflon, typically) and some high temperature wire loom along with the necessary crimp terminals. The connectors for things like the oil pressure sender can be resoldered.

This kit looks like it makes it far easier, just swapping connectors.

With the Kurth Kit... I'm not sure any soldering is necessary? The replacement harness should include new terminals/connectors already soldered on. You re-use the large positive cable and that doesn't need to have the terminals removed.
