W124.034 Parts issues?

Hello Everyone,

We all know of the .036 parts issues, but I wanted to ask about the .034 specific parts. Is there any severe issue with these cars?

The common parts with the .036 are known to me, I am asking about 034 specific such as the brake system, electronics, suspension, etc..

The car in question is a MJ1994 E420 Euro, without ASR, SLS, Sportline, RCL. but surprisingly has the factory Radio of the MJ1995 !

Some of the Sportline items are NLA... sway bars, possibly springs, rear bushings. But overall most parts should be available, if not from MB, then aftermarket.

:tigger:

I own several older MB’s. While there are no immediate insurmountable issues I can see them shortly on the horizon. MB just isn’t continuing to support parts for the w124, w123, w201 and similar 4 door cars. Once current parts dry up, we will have issues.

I’ve noticed a rapid decrease in parts availability in the past 3-ish years for the cars mentioned above, even basic stuff like coolant hoses. The r107 has the best parts support of all my cars.
