Hello guys, my first post here. I come from Croatia and i own 1994 E300 TD OM603 in Bornit color with some nice options(both front orthopeadic seats) Car does need some work, i am 23 and we have owned the car since 2007, and as a student i have nothing but a love for this car. In 3 or 4 months car will be completely painted (in the same color, including side door trim and bumpers which will be clear coated also so the car can have sleek look ) and rust protected frame filled with wax.

NOW after long introduction i want to completly change suspension components and need help deciding do I push out old bushings and rubbers and press in new ones or do I buy new component and bolt it in. Would also like a bit stiffer suspension probably bilstein sportline(heavyduty).

Any advice is welcome.

That's a sweet car! You should post some photos.

It depends on the component. Front LCA's can be rebuilt with new bushings & ball joints (OE/dealer strongly recommended for all parts, btw). Be careful though, the bushings must be installed in a specific orientation. Match the old ones exactly. There are photos on the W124performance website. In the rear subframe, replace the entire link.

Best to use all factory Sportline components where still available. You can still get the coil springs and front sway bar, but the rear bar is NLA. Bilstein Sport struts should work well up front.

Welcome to the forum!

@gsxr thank you for advice , then most of the parts i will buy OE, good thing is here we still a lots of NOS that is NOA which can be found if you know certain people, for good price which is hard to belive. But what is really hard is to find AMG bumpers and side skirts. I will be cleaning car tonight so i can take some pictures for you guys. Interior is pretty good condition since when it arrived to us in 2007 seat covers were custom made for full interior and never taken off till last year which is rare. If you have someone selling AMG front bumper for 1994 we can make a deal.
