W124 vs. W126 Instrument Cluster Warning Light Strips

Thought you guys would be interested to see the difference between a W124 and a W126 instrument cluster warning light strip.

The W124 strips are on the top; W126 on the bottom. As you can see, the 126 strip is somewhat taller and the icons are slightly scaled up from the 124.

The reason the W124 strip doesn’t have a CEL is because it came off of a 1987 300TD wagon (Diesel).

I will use a modified strip in the cluster of my G-wagen.
