((SOLD)) W124, W201 and R129 Full Brake Package

Hello Everyone,

I decided to go in a different direction on the whole braking system on my 95 E300. Everything is Brand new except for the front calipers. I was going to rebuild the fronts and send everything to get powder coated.

Front left and right calipers off a 1999 R129 SL600. These were bought from potomac german auto yards and they listed the condition as A.

Front Rotors are 334X32 cross drilled from Centric part number 128.35026.

Front pads left and right stop tech performance part number 309.08470.

Rear left and right off a R129 and calipers rebuilt from Centric part numbers 141.35533/ 141.35534.

Rear rotors left and right 300X22 cross drilled Centric part number 128.35030.

Rear pads left and right stop tech performance part number 309.06030.

Centric front rebuild kit for the calipers with seals and clips.

Buyer to verify all part numbers and fitment for their application. These are brand new with original packaging and have not been tested fitted. These were going to be installed by a professional with experience.

I have over $1200 in this complete kit. Great upgrade for all W124s. I did all the work getting them for you! Buyer to pay for shipping but prefer local buyer and paypal if not a local buyer.

Parts are in the Seattle area for local buyers.

Price $850
No trades please.

Thanks,

David

Hi Guys,

For all the people interested in the brakes but worried about shipping here are the weights/ possible box dimension to accommodate the parts.
Someone who was interested wanted a price quote to the bay area and that ended up costing $131 from 98005 zip code.

4 rotors weight
82.6 lbs
16X16X14 Tall

Rear Calipers, Pads and hardware
21 lbs
15X11X9.5 Tall

Front Calipers
23.8 lbs
14X8.5X10 Tall

Thanks

I would check with Fedex and USPS. They both have flat rate shipping using their boxes.

David, I would try ebay for quicker sale. You have a full set of brakes for a nice price I think ebay might be the place to sell it.

First, this is a GREAT deal. I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet.

Second, having shipped this stuff all over before... I would not recommend putting all 4 rotors into a single box, unless it's a wooden crate. Besides running into weight limits for many carriers, the probability of an 85-lb cardboard box remaining intact over thousands of miles is between zero and zilch. And you have to put something between the rotors so they don't bang together during shipment. Don't forget to include the weight of the packaging, which will add 3-5 pounds.

However, you can fit all four calipers into a single box... I would recommend double-boxing everything, you can fit one each front and both rears into a medium Priority flat rate box (3 total), and all three of those will fit into a single 16x12x12 box. Install the pads in the calipers to save space. I'd forget shipping the rotors overseas, it isn't worth it, cost will be more than they are worth... BT, DT. International buyers can use a freight forwarder, you can ship FedEx Ground (cheapest) to their forwarder in USA and let them deal with it from that point.

Not that he needs it, but this could probably be easy for "Maui Ken" to snag. :stickpoke:
Just sayin'

Hello Guys,

Thanks for checking out the post. However the buyer wants to handle shipping is fine by me. I just wanted to give an idea of the size of boxes that could be used and exact weight. To California Bay Area was $131 through fedex using the box dimensions I posted earlier. If the buyer would want to use 3,4,5,6 boxes its up to them or if they want to go with the freight route. I will wait a little longer before putting them on eBay.

If I hadn't just installed SL600 front calipers with Zimmerman rotors I would. I'd like to find a set of rear calipers though.

I am interested in the full brake set...I'll private message you about the situation

A lot of people interested but wont pull the trigger. Just wanted to give you guys an update. I will be listing the brake kit on eBay in the next week or so "Minus Lines" and will post a link for all who may be interest. Not sure if I'm going to do an auction with bidding and reserve or a higher price with best offer option but regardless it will not be for under $850 and buyer pays shipping.

Thanks again
