Back when I had my 500SEC I bought a three piece AMG wheel off Ebay to have as a spare. But when I got the wheel it turned out it was 10x17 et5, while the "common" AMG three piece for the rear is supposed to be et17. Does anyone know which type of Mercedes this wheel was intended for?
Well if one would think logically it would be for a wider car.... IIRC there is only one wider 124 based model which uses these type of wheels and that is the Hammer 6.0.
Some 3 piece wheels can be altered by changing barrel pieces and or flipping the face piece. Since the specs are listed on the face piece I would recommend taking some measurements to verify what you really have. Just the same, someone (Johnathan) will know what car the centerpiece and/or wheel was made for. I don't think a 10'' ET 5 wheel would fit on a Hammer.
